Urban Ecology

Urban Ecosystem based planning and design is a fundamental approach to improve quality of life and environmental performance in cities at all scales.  Understanding and intervening at local as well as systemic level via urban ecosystem restoration strategies & design can transform existing cities into Eco-cities. From (spatial) principles to site specific design, spatial quality and spatial experience!

The research fellowship Urban Ecology is based at faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment TU Delft, Urbanism department, section Landscape Architecture. It is funded by Bird Life Netherlands, VBN.
